Local Manufacturing: Lyte Ladders manufactures our products in the UK, significantly reducing our carbon footprint by eliminating the need for long-distance shipping of products from the Far East.

Renewable Energy: As part of our Carbon Reduction Plan to get to Net Zero by 2050, we have installed solar panels at our production facilities to further decrease our environmental impact and support sustainable manufacturing processes.

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle: Our products are designed for longevity. We also offer an inspection, repair and maintenance service, extending the life of our products. And when you finally replace the products, don’t forget the aluminium can be recycled.

Lyte Ladders founded by Cyril Harcourt Matthews at Crindau, Newport.

1950

Opened large manufacturing facility in Rogerstone, Newport, employing around 120 people.

1953

Lyte Ladders were part of the historic first ascent of Mount Everest, and the ladder remains there today — a testament to the unrivalled strength and longevity of our products.
